   At Hames Marina on the Lewis-Smith Lake in Cullman Alabama, we rent lots to families and individuals who have an RV or mobile home they wish to park at the lake for at least one year, ( and usually stay for several years, some more than a decade). These lots are used for recreational purposes; fishing, boating, camping, cookouts etc. The RV owner does not live there, their home is elsewhere, but they maintain a place at the lake for their private use. These are not short-term rentals. It's a vacation community at the lake! Many choose to build a deck, add  lounge chairs and string lights! Personalized to represent their style, it becomes a favored weekend getaway. Lots rents are paid annually, semi-annually, or monthly, with RV owners paying their own utilities. Parking and boat launching is included (a few lots have water included as well).
