2019 Flood Stage

This is the view from the porch of the old store!  The flood water is almost up to the sidewalk.  Not much of the boat ramp is visible here, but plenty of boats have been launching this week to take advantage of some superb post-flood fishing.

Here is the view of the walkway going to the old gas pier.  The first several feet of the walkway is underwater, as the water level is above the pivot point connection.  Interestingly, the wooden boardwalk is a couple of inches above the water line.  It is a sight to see!
This view shows the water level on the boat launch ramp, as you can see, it is flooded past the pivot point of the courtesy loading/unloading pier, and the entire pier  has turned and is resting at the tree line.  Notice, that the retaining wall in front of the boathouse is completely submerged today.

Will it stay this way long?  I certainly don't know.  If you make it to the lake this weekend, you can compare with these awesome flood pictures!  See you at the Lake, at the old Hames Marina!
